NFL Network's Jason La Canfora reports QB Jay Cutler has agreed to a two-year contract extension with the Chicago Bears, according to a league source. The extension, which would keep the Bears' franchise QB in Chicago through 2013, includes about $20 million guaranteed and roughly $30 million in new money.

That would bring his total to only 14 million more than Cassel's contract. A bargain for the Bears.

The Bears brought him here to be the franchise QB. This contract keeps him here longer. He is a top ten QB in the NFL. This is good news.

He hardly cost you the win... I seen plenty of players and plays that cost you the win.

Amen. The two picks did hurt, I won't deny that. But the Bears had other issues too.

:icon_rolleyes: And the genius play calling with the ball on the one and the great blocking that didn't allow anyone to run and the stupid false start penalty on 4th and one had nothing to do with it right?
