All five Chicago Bears 2011 draft picks are under contract as the team announced Friday it has agreed to a deal with their first-round choice, offensive tackle Gabe Carimi. The Bears selected Carimi No. 29 overall out of the University of Wisconsin to help shore up an offensive line that surrendered 56 sacks during the 2010 regular season. It remains to be seen what position Carimi is best suited to play in the NFL, but the rookie is expected to be on the practice field when the Bears officially begin training camp Saturday afternoon. Carimi was incidentally involved in a draft day snafu by the Bears that incensed the Ravens. Chicago was trying to trade up to No. 26 to take Carimi but didn't call the deal into the league office.
