i actually think the vikes match-up pretty well with the bears. the vikes front 7 should be able to take advantage of the bears poor o-line without having to blitz, and therefore they can focus on containing the bears running game. The Bears are getting pretty banged up on defense and may be without some key guys so the Vikes may be able to move the ball a bit. In addition, the Bears are bad on the road and the Vikings play much better at home. The only thing i see that is a big advantage is the fact that Frazier has never been able to beat Lovie. I think he's 0-4 against him so maybe Lovie has Frazier's number for some reason. I'm going to say this has a pretty good potential to be an upset.

No Urlacher in this game. Bears are 7-15 without Urlacher. I'm still confident the Bears can win this game but this will be a nailbitter unlike two weeks ago.
The Bears are bad on the road? Didn't you say the samething about the Seahawks last week? Maybe you can jinx the Vikings this week like you jinxed the Bears last week? :icon_cheesygrin:
yep, i might start a trend. obviously i would never say the bears can't win this game because no one can predict the future and the nfl games are too unpredictable anyway. i'm just referring to the Bears being a 3 point favorite on the road and when I look at the match-up, injuries and the trends, I don't get it. In my mind, it should be a pick'em.
I know, I was just busting your balls with that last post, lol. Injuries, injuries, injuries, & more injuries. Wow, injuries have really hit the Bears the last two weeks. People may be saying Urlacher is a step slower these days but doesn't that usually happen when an athlete, especially a football player hits their 30s? Urlacher has been very important to the Bears defense since 2000. Now, past history will show that the Bears are 7-15 when Urlacher does not play. The Bears are still a top 10 defense in the league. With or without Urlacher, everyone on defense MUST step up their game. This sunday is a game both teams need badly.
