Seven players who were waived by the Bears during final cuts Saturday were placed on the team’s eight-man practice squad Sunday. The group includes wide receivers Juaquin Iglesias and Greg Mathews, fullback Eddie Williams, center/guard Edwin Williams, tackles James Marten and Levi Horn and defensive end Barry Turner. Iglesias, a 2009 third-round draft pick, was inactive for the first 15 games last year as a rookie before making his NFL debut in the season finale at Detroit. The 6-1, 205-pounder performed well in offseason practices, but sustained a quad injury that stunted his progress in training camp. Iglesias had four receptions for 85 yards and 1 touchdown in the preseason. Source: Larry Mayer, ChicagoBears.com
