Great gesture by Ben, my uncle is a K-9 officer and treats his dog like a partner. He says they are an invaluable part of police work.:icon_thumright:

Not quite, bad math guy. Doesn't matter what you "equate" a 100K to, a hundred grand is still a hundred grand no matter what size the bank account it came from is.

And, no.....they should not ALL be doing it. Who are you to say how another human being ought to be spending their money? They are under no more obligation to give away their money than you are to the bum on the street corner.

It's a felony to injure or kill a police dog. They are cops just as much as the two-legged variety are. I wasn't able to get on with Minneapolis PD's K-9 Unit, but it's something I may try doing when I move to Boston this fall.

Very cool of Ben...and it's funny to see police dogs when not working they are just a family dog, their whole demeanor changes when they know they're going to work
