Ben Roethlisberger said after a deflating loss in New England that the one thing he wanted to see moving forward was for the Pittsburgh Steelers to keep battling.

Roethlisberger vowed Tuesday on his weekly radio show that this won't be optional for his teammates as they try to rebound from a 2-6 start.

“If anybody’s ready to quit, then they need to get off this train because I’m going to keep it moving and I think everyone feels the same way,â€￾ Roethlisberger said on 93.7 The Fan. “You know you’re not going to get any quit from me, and I’m going to make sure no one else does.â€￾

SteveRobWhatever's Take: Who would have thought that at the midway point of the season the Steelers would be in the AFC North cellar at 2-6? It's been a ugly season for far for Pittsburgh. I know Big Ben is trying to rally the troops but it might be too little too late. This team might string some wins together but they need a overhaul on defense and offense to be competitive again. The wheels came off the Steelers quick this year.

I thought they'd be "bad" by "Steelers standards," but not this bad.
