Bengals Chad Ochocinco, Jets Bart Scott Fined $20K For Uniform Violations

Cincinnati wide receiver Chad Ochocinco and New York Jets linebacker Bart Scott were each fined $20,000 by the NFL on Friday for violating the league’s uniform policy. Ochocinco wore gold cleats during the Bengals’ 27-21 loss at Pittsburgh on Monday night. He was previously fined $25,000 for violating the league’s social media policy. Scott was fined for playing without having his chin straps snapped at all times—a safety issue—during the Jets’ 23-20 overtime victory at Detroit last week.

What? Berrian was only fined 5k for his gold cleats. Doesn't make sense.

 

Wow! 15k is a slight disparity. Then again, Chad has been tweaking the leagues nose for a couple of years now.

 

Thats probably because Berrian was a first time offender.
