According to Kevin Goheen of the Cincinnati Enquirer, a report on ProFootballTalk.com Sunday said the Bengals were considering making Owens inactive for the final three games due to his attitude and performance in practice and games. Lewis vehemently denied the report, which was attributed to an anonymous league source. "Pro Football Talk? Enough said. I don't need to address it," said Lewis. "Have I ever addressed anything in here from Pro Football Talk? No. I don't even know where it is." Unfortunately, Owens' season ended Sunday after all due to torn cartilage in his knee. pft is o.k. but a lot of what they publish is just opinion-based and people take 100% of it as source-driven stories so I can kind of see what lewis is saying ............ pft is basically the national enquirer for the nfl .......... some of what they publish is true but much of it is not .............
I understand what they are and what they do, but they obviously produce content people are interested in. Within reason, their real people (not amateur op-ed columnists) should probably get at least some recognition as legitimate press.
PFT is a joke and more often then not they just throw crap against the wall in hopes that one pile of bullcrap sticks.
