Sunday’s Cincinnati Bengals game against the Green Bay Packers at Paul Brown Stadium is sold out. No tickets are available for single-game sales, according to the Bengals’ website this morning. NFL policy states that games must be sold out 72 hours in advance of kickoff to be televised locally. The game is at 1 p.m. Sunday and will air on Fox 19. Since having a run of 10 blackouts in an 11-game period from the middle of 2010 through most of 2011, the team has sold out 8 of its last 10 regular-season games from the 2011 finale through Sunday. Not surprising. The Packers have a national following and it should be a good game. I looked into getting tickets for this game but the prices were too rich for me. Most of the tickets I found were in the $200-$300 range and even the nosebleed seats were in the $100 range. Its always amazed that more people in Ohio dont support the Bengals. Why support the Browns when they are going to suck most years? Why not support the team in Ohio that actually has SOMEWHAT of a chance to do something every year.
