Throughout the free agency period the Cincinnati Bengals have appeared confident that they would re-sign right tackle Andre Smith but no deal has happened . It is now becoming increasingly likely that the Bengals will move on from Smith according to Mike Florio of profootballtalk.com. The sticky issue, as it often is, is money and Smith is simply asking too much in a free agent market that has not been kind to offensive lineman this year, Smith's refusal to lower his price is keeping him at home as no other team has expressed much interest in his services. According to a league source, the Bengals are "now inclined to see if they can find a cheaper and younger replacement for Smith via the draft." Smith's best option at this point may be to swallow his pride and sign a one-year deal, he had an awesome 2012 and a repeat of that success in 2013 could get him the long-term money he is looking for.
