Injuries and depleted positions forced the Bengals to make four roster moves Wednesday. The most prominent was longest tenured player Robert Geathers landing on injured reserve with a season-ending elbow injury. Also, the team waived linebacker JK Schaffer while re-signing safety Jeromy Miles and adding free agent corner Curtis Marsh. Expectations are Schaffer will return to the practice squad this week assuming he clears waivers. Geathers played inside and outside as a key cog in the defensive line rotation defensive coordinator Mike Zimmer likes to employ. Source: Cincinnati Enquirer
