Bengals rookie quarterback Andy Dalton has left his first NFL game with an apparent injury to his right arm. Dalton was hit by Browns rookie defensive tackle Phil Taylor on Cincinnati’s final offensive play in the first half. He favored his arm as he came off the field and was checked by trainers before going to the locker room. He didn’t return after halftime and backup Bruce Gradkowski took the first snap of the second half. Dalton went 10 of 15 for 81 yards and threw a 2-yard TD pass to Jermaine Gresham. Injuries are always bad, but to be a rookie and get injured in your first game must be tough. He was playing pretty well too.
They were working on his throwing wrist on the sideline. He warmed up and was wincing in pain. Gradkowski started 2 series (both punts) so far.
