The Cincinnati Bengals announced the release of cornerback Jason Allen on Wednesday. He played just four games while dealing with injuries in his lone season with Bengals. Allen was the No. 16 overall pick by the Miami Dolphins in 2006. He only started 23 games in seven NFL seasons and is considered one of the worst picks in Dolphins history.
