The Bengals official team website reports that running back BenJarvus Green-Ellis is going to be the starter, but he's expected to share carries with Bernard Scott and Brian Leonard. The report says "offensive coordinator Jay Gruden is going running-back-by-committee, the Bell Cow is extinct." The report also quotes Sports Illustrated NFL Insider Peter King that "any team that Marvin Lewis is coaching is going to run the ball. Green-Ellis isn't explosive, but they want him to do what (Cedric) Benson did and possess the ball and get 3 or 4 yards every time without big losses, and that's what he does."

i thought the steelers RB situation was rough without mendenhall until i saw the bengals, it really put it in perspective

    in the AFC north

    Steelers:
    Isaac Redman* - Starter
    Baron Batch
    John Clay
    Chris Rainey
    Jonathan Dwyer
    Rashard Mendenhall - Injured
    Will Johnson

    Browns:
    Trent Richardson* - Starter
    Montario hardesty
    Chris Ogbonnaya
    Eddie Williams
    Brandon Jackson
    Brad Smelley

    Bengals:
    Jourdan Brooks
    Aaron Brown
    James Develin
    BenJarvus Green-Ellis* - Starter
    Dan Herron
    Bernard Scott
    Rodney Stewart
    Brian Leonard

    Ravens:
    Ray Rice* - Starter
    Anthony Allen
    Damien Berry
    Bernard Pierce
    Bobby Rainey
    Vonta Leach - FB

Id say the ravens and browns have the best starters, but the steelers have the best rotation even if theres a decent amount of question marks surrounding them. the bengals just look horrid
