Former Cowboys receiver Terrell Owens says that skin color plays a role in the way Vikings quarterback Brett Favre is covered by the media. Owens joined teammate Chad Ochocinco on the T.Ocho Show on Versus. Ochocinco said he and Owens would be "crucified" if they made decisions like the Vikings quarterback. Said Owens: "If it was (Ochocinco) or me doing some of those things and then you come out and have the performance of how he had in his first game, they would've critiqued that game and all the mistakes he made in that game," Owens said. "For not being in training camp," Ochocinco added."Right, for not being in training camp," Owens continued. "Had we done that, they would've critiqued our game to a "T," but when it comes to us, we're held to another standard which is not in a positive light when it comes to the media. I think it does have something ... when it comes to skin color, I think it does have something to do with it." Source: The Dallas Morning News
Screw you Owens. You have no right to be a WR in the NFL you're a disgrace and a pathetic excuse as a human being. Keep your popcorn and batman and robin parodies with your boyfriend Chad.
He's right about everything but the skin color. Brett Favre gets a pass on everything including media whoring.
lol...it's true...but not because of skin color. It's b/c you both are known for being buttholes and quite possibly bigger attention tramps than that whitebred boy from Mississippi...
I'm at a loss for words for once in my life. I would have never expected the race card to get played in this situation...good God what is this world coming to?:icon_confused:
I had to dig deep to find this article. Only one other verifiable site, that will remain nameless, has reported this besides where I got it from. Wait till tomorrow, gives us MediaGuy's something to do.:icon_cheesygrin:
