    Worst case of the nerves: Marcell Dareus stupidly jumped offsides as the Pats were lining up for a 28-yard fourth quarter Stephen Gostkowski field goal attempt. That encroachment penalty gave the Pats a first-and-goal from the 5 and Tom Brady hit Shane Vereen for a score on the very next play.

    Best tone setter: Once again, LeGarrette Blount was used heavily to carry the rock, battering Bills defenders and keeping Brady free from the pass rush. Blount finished with a career-best 189 yards on 24 carries and two touchdowns.
