They really dominated the AFC today.

    Saints crushed the Jaguars

    Lions destroyed the Broncos

    Packers beat Chiefs

    Redskins beat Jets

only setback was Carolina losing to Tennesee.

But I still can't see, how one of the NFC teams, could beat the Colts or Pats in the SB

I dont think an NFC team can, but I do believe the NFC is just as deep in terms of quality this year as the AFC. What puts the AFC over the top is Indy and NE being so good.

AFC has 3 of the 4 best teams, arguably the 3 best.

but the NFC made a statement today.

Seattle-Cleveland going down to the wire

Yes the NFC had a good day but I do agree that the top of the AFC totally outdoes the topf of the NFC. Pick your top five afc teams and your top five nfc teams and stack them up side by side....

    New England Dallas
    Indy Green Bay
    Pittsburgh NYG
    Tenn Detroit
    Clev? Tampa/Wash/NO

Overall, yes the AFC wins, but Tennessee and Cleveland are probably the other 2 in the top 5.

you know what....you're right. I keep forgetting how terribly the afc west is doing this year......I'd still pick NE, Indy and Pitt above the Cowboys and Packers but.....it is a lot closer than i thought. Chargers were starting to play their way back into to the top until last week...Kind of scary to think that the Browns are there. Jags are probably a better team than Browns but unless Garard stays healthy they won't be.
