Bills cornerback Terrence McGee is expected to miss the remainder of the season because of a knee injury he sustained during Sunday's game against Miami. McGee was hurt during the second quarter of Buffalo's 35-8 loss while trying to defend a touchdown pass to Miami's Davone Bess. Teammate Jairus Byrd indicated that McGee was undergoing surgery on Monday via Twitter with a post that read "Praying for T.mcgee surgery this morning." McGee will have his season shortened for the third time in as many years because of injury. A shoulder issue kept him out for much of the second half in 2009 sent him to injured reserve in late December, while a knee procedure last year allowed him to play just nine games.
