Bills FS Jairus Byrd Named AFC Defensive Player Of Week 6

    Buffalo Bills free safety Jairus Byrd was named the AFC Defensive Player of the Week

    Byrd, a fourth-year player from Oregon, had two interceptions in the Bills’ 19-16 overtime win against Arizona on Sunday.

    Byrd’s interception and 29-yard return in overtime set up Rian Lindell’s 25-yard winning field goal. Byrd also added four tackles and two passes defensed, he is tied for the league lead with three interceptions Byrd posted two interceptions on the day, to go along with four tackles including a tackle for loss and two passes defensed. Sunday marked Byrd’s fourth career multi-interception game and he is tied for the AFC lead in interceptions with three this season.
