Buffalo Bills defensive back Bryan Scott's versatility at strong safety makes him valuable, especially since it keeps Donte Whitner at free safety. "I don't think it's taboo to say we're still experimenting with how we can use him," defensive coordinator Perry Fewell said. "If we add this, if we add that, can he handle those things? He played corner in college and he has the size (6-foot-1, 219 pounds) of a safety. We always tried to take advantage of his pass coverage skills, but we can also blitz him." [IMG] Perhaps his most important role is his ability to match up against big, quality tight ends, especially in the AFC East. A year ago, the Bills glued him to Dustin Keller (6-2, 248) of the New York Jets and Anthony Fasano (6-4, 255) of the Miami Dolphins.

Last year at camp the position battle came down to Bryan Scott vs Jim Leonard. Scott won the roster spot, Leonard went to the Pro Bowl for the Ravens. :titanic:
