Bills coach twinky Jauron remains confident in quarterback Trent Edwards and Buffalo’s struggling offense even after T.O. was a no-show on the stat sheet for the first time in 14 seasons. That doesn’t mean Jauron would object to a few more passes being thrown in Terrell Owens’ direction. “We’ll take more shots,†Jauron said Monday, a day after Owens had his 185-game reception streak in regular-season games — the third-longest in NFL history — snapped in a 27-7 loss to New Orleans. “We definitely have to get him more involved in the game no matter what the defense does.â€

I find it amazing that his production has dropped so much. I haven't seen th Bills play so I don't know the exact situation, but with Evans on the other side, I thought one of the two would put up good numbers...

You would think that with Owens & Evans they would be options #1 and #2 for Trent Edwards. THEY'RE NOT. That's the frustrating part right here. Edwards will look at his TE, #3 WR or RB first. I don't understand why they signed TO if the freaking offense is going to center around freaking 4 yard passes to the TE. twinky Jauron is a cat and now he's turned Edwards into one as well. He has no balls to take chances with throws.

That's been a knock on Edwards from the get go right? He's afraid to throw down field?

Last season Edwards & Jauron used the excuse that the WRs were never open so that's why he checked down all the time. So the team signed TO. In theory he'd either get open or draw double coverage thus allowing Evans single coverage. That's not happening. Edwards is ignoring both WRs so then too are defenses. In the 2nd half the Saints realized Trent wasn't throwing to TO so they single covered him and rushed more. Trent STILL didn't even attempt to throw downfield to either WR.

Does any of it have to do with the play calls or offensive schemes and ideas?

defiantly thought TO would be a highlight for the bills, but 3 games in and hes barely a no show.......

Hopefully they do get him more involved.

Many thought it did. The Bills fired their OC 3 days before the season started because they thought it was the schemes and play calling. But guess what, it's still happening through 3 games. So it must be Trent, right? He's making what should be his 3rd read his 1st read. He's Trentative Checkwards.

Was watching the game and noticed Edwards kept going to Josh Reed lol. But also noticed Owens piss poor blocking when he wasn't getting the ball and they were running the ball. Just like when he was in Dallas if he's not involved in the game early, every aspect of his game becomes poor and he gives a half assed effort.
