One day after the Buffalo Bills loosened up their crowded backfield by trading Marshawn Lynch, they have named Fred Jackson the starter at running back, an NFL source has informed me. The move seems obvious on one hand. Jackson finished last season as the feature back. He rushed for 1,062 yards and, as their kickoff returner, gained 2,516 all-purpose yards, fourth-most in NFL history. But the Bills also drafted running back C.J. Spiller ninth overall and made him the starter on opening day. Source: ESPN
