Buffalo Bills rookie quarterback EJ Manuel is expected to miss another four to six weeks now that he's begun rehabbing his sprained right knee.

Manuel began working out on his own Tuesday for the first time since being hurt in a loss to Cleveland on Oct. 3 and HC Doug Marrone was able to provide a more definitive timetable on Manuel's recovery Wednesday after consulting with team doctors.

markaz's Take: Four to six weeks seems like an eternity for a team that thought it had finally solved its QB problems with the arrival and stellar play of Manuel in the preseason camps and preseason games. It's also a short period of time worth waiting for given the garbage currently on their roster at QB.

Agree. Seemed like the Bills were heading in a positive direction...4-6 weeks could send them into a negative tailspin...

yep, this is probably going to mean another lost season for the bills. e.j. was looking like he may have some potential.
