Buffalo Bills quarterback EJ Manuel has a lateral collateral ligament sprain in his right knee that will keep him out a few weeks, coach Doug Marrone said Friday. Manuel's injury, which occurred on a third-quarter scramble in the Bills' 37-24 loss to the Cleveland Browns on Thursday night, will not require surgery. "It's early on now to really give an exact time frame or even a window. What we need right now is for it to calm down and see where it's at," Marrone said. "Probably in a week see how it's progressing, see where he is, then get it down into a little bit more of a window." Source: ESPN Sportsguy's take: Tough break for the Bills
Re: Buffalo Bills QB EJ Manuel Will Miss Couple Of Weeks With Knee Sprain i read an article from this morning that is increasing the expectation to 6 weeks.
Re: Buffalo Bills QB EJ Manuel Will Miss Couple Of Weeks With Knee Sprain He was fortunate his leg was able to spring free in the air the way it did. Otherwise it would've been much worse
