The Bills are concerned that Kevin Kolb's latest concussion could end his career "and they're operating with that in mind," a source told the Buffalo News. Buffalo added quarterbacks Matt Leinart and Thaddeus Lewis on Sunday.

First-round pick EJ Manuel is recovering from a knee injury. The Bills hope he'll be able to play in the regular-season opener.

He is a crapty QB, but it's still sad to hear stories about career ending injuries.

But while we're on the topic, Matt Leinart has to be considered one of the biggest QB busts ever, right? At least top 5. That dude was hyped way up after college and was just straight up crap.

So all we need is Eli to go down to have an Empire State crisis.

Thaddeus Lewis = NOT a difference maker.
Matt Leinart = NOT a difference maker.

They are simply looking for someone to hold the clipboard because they are going with the E.J. Manuel show starting week one.

This really gives great comfort in the organization that you declare your allegiance to. Leinart was a Cards' No. 1 draft pick and signed Kolb for $64,000,000. A few short years later they're a punch line.[IMG]

as cheap as ralph wilson is,would not shock me if they were trying to sell this so they could have insurance pay off kolb's guranteed contract and not the bills organization.

It seems like Kolb has had quite a few concussions, so calling it quits might be for the best.

Well, hopefully kolbs melon will be ok. But if this forces him to retire, it might be the best thing for all of us. Watching him play was painful for all of us also

I think Kolbs play effectively ended his career long before the concussion became an issue.
