The Buffalo Bills and running back Fred Jackson have agreed to terms on a contract extension. Jackson was an exclusive rights free agent so he couldn't negotiate with any other team. The Bills had made him a minimum contract offer of $460,000 under which Jackson would have played had a new deal not been negotiated.

Good idea to get him signed, he is a good back and with Lynch out the beginning of the year they need the depth.

Good job by the Bills getting him under contract. I think Fred could be a very nice back for the first 1/3 of the season.

yep, they're looking good in the backfield now and if their o-line can hold together and if T.O. really helps their receiving game, they are going to be a pretty decent offense.

(was there too many 'ifs' in there to be realistic?)
