Bills RB Fred Jackson is ahead of schedule in his return from a knee injury, coach Chan Gailey revealed on Thursday. Jackson has done some light work alongside trainers during practices this week and is moving well after suffering a knee sprain in Week 1 against the New York Jets. “Yeah, he is [ahead],†Gailey said. “He must be a fast healer.†Jackson was initially expected to miss 1-2 months of action. On Monday, CBSSports.com's Jason LaCanfora reported that Jackson may now miss only 3-4 weeks, which looks like a more reasonable expectation based on recent developments. Source: CBS Sports
