Fred Jackson and C.J. Spiller‘s timeshare doesn’t appear to be ending as head coach Chan Gailey said he will continue to split the twos carries, per Chris Brown of BuffaloBills.com.

“I don’t know how to solve that problem when you have two great players at the same position,†said Gailey, via Brown. “If one of them all of a sudden gets a hot hand then it’s easy to figure out. Going into a game you have two great players and you want to play them as equal as possible and then you see how the game is going, that’s what you do.â€

Both the backs had virtually the same amount of offensive snaps last week as Jackson had 22 to Spiller’s 24. Initially, Spiller has looked like the better back so far this season, but, for the short-term, the Bills can’t deny Jackson the ball given his body of work over the past three seasons. However, if Jackson continues to run the ball at a clip of 2.8 yards per carry, then the Bills will have increase Spiller’s workload.
