John Clayton of ESPN.com reports that the only update on Ravens offensive tackle Jared Gaither is that he's getting a foot injury checked out and he won't be traded. The only way the Ravens would give him up is for a second-round choice or better. Clayton goes on to write that he doesn't see the Bills or another team doing that at this stage. Source: ESPN.com
I never liked the idea of trading him but Buffalo's unwillingness to pony meant that this was just a lot of speculation anyhow.
Right, my understanding that Jared Gaither is a fantastic young left tackle. Why are the Ravens so determined to get rid?
Ya apparently hes a bit lazy but hes still a top tackle what is going on over there? They must have another tackle theyre excited about.
Jared Gaither and Michael Oher are franchise book-ends. Makes no sense to destroy that when they are doing so well.
