Just when you think the Buffalo Bills are thin enough at wide receiver, they appear bound and determined to get thinner. Jason Cole of Yahoo! Sports reports that the Bills are not expected to offer a restricted free agent tender to fourth-year wideout David Nelson.

Nelson, a former undrafted free agent out of Florida, emerged as a dependable possession receiver in his first two years in the league, accumulating 92 receptions, 1,011 yards and eight touchdowns in that time frame. The Bills had big plans for him within Chan Gailey's offense in 2012, but a Week 1 torn ACL ended his season after just two receptions and now, it's looking like Nelson's career in Buffalo may be over.

The Bills have already previously announced that they're not re-signing Donald Jones this off-season, meaning that aside from Stevie Johnson, the most accomplished receivers on the roster are Brad Smith and T.J. Graham.
