here might be no player on the Buffalo Bills roster with more reason for optimism about the 2009 season than receiver Lee Evans. The addition of Terrell Owens gives Evans the realistic expectation of less double coverage. "I think the main thing that's exciting about this year is the potential for more opportunities," Evans said after practice at St. John Fisher College. "That's exciting. You go into certain games and see the same thing over and over and over again. Defenses don't really have to do anything fancy. Now there's a real chance that we'll have a lot more opportunities. That's exciting." Evans spent three days in Minnesota working out with retired receiving great Cris Carter and Arizona Cardinals receiving star Larry Fitzgerald at a special receivers camp they held in Minneapolis. "It was definitely a good experience," Evans said. "Just to be around different receivers, learning a little bit from them while they learn a little bit from me. When you go out there and you see those guys working hard, you see you've got to work hard to be great."
