Bills receiver Stevie Johnson will wake up Monday in Philadelphia, where he's scheduled to have surgery on his groin. Johnson tweeted that news himself tonight. His agent, C.J. Laboy, said in a text message to The News that it's "not a serious surgery" and has a "very brief" recovery time. Johnson was nagged nearly all of last season by the injury, but battled through it to become the team's first-ever receiver to post back-to-back 1,000-yard seasons. He did not miss a game. Johnson finished with 76 catches for 1,004 yards and has 17 touchdown catches over the past two years. Source: Buffalo News
He played all year with it and it didn't stop him from 1,000 yds. season back to back, so good luck Stevie!!!
I've seen some reports saying it is a sports hernia...but whatever it is I feel for anyone with that kind of injury.
No, I don't remember where I saw them...and I'm not going to look, it's not THAT important to me.....
I'm just wondering if his people are covering up the severity of the injury in wake of the new contract.
