If Vikings receiver Bobby Wade is to be believed, the team's quarterback competition is all but over. On Saturday, Wade told reporters that the job, contested between Sage Rosenfels and Tarvaris Jackson, is Jackson's to lose. “Obviously, (Jackson) missed a couple of days so that always plays a toll," Wade said, via the Minneapolis Star-Tribune. "You know the timing’s really important for every single one of our receivers, the timing with Tarvaris, and Sage for that matter but especially Tarvaris knowing he’ll be pretty much the named starter going into the season so timing is everything in this offense.†Vikings coach Brad Childress has held off handicapping the race and unless Jackson entered camp with an edge in his favor, it would be hard for him to have too much support since he has missed significant time to injury.
