Brad Childress Grumbles About Vikings QB Brett Favre

Brad Childress was upset by Brett Favre’s decision-making on Sunday night as the quarterback threw three interceptions in a 28-24 loss to Green Bay at Lambeau Field, but the Vikings coach reserved the majority of his ire for the officiating job done by referee Scott Green’s crew. Favre, meanwhile, has concerns of his own that go beyond turnovers after reinjuring his surgically repaired left ankle in the third quarter when he was hit by Packers linebacker Brad Jones as he threw a ball that was picked off by A.J. Hawk. Favre was clearly having trouble moving after the game and walked with a noticeable limp into the postgame news conference. It has to be considered questionable whether Favre will be able to play next Sunday at New England.

Childress doesn't deserve to grumble about Favre. Favre is the only reason he has a job.

If you look at "standing at the sideline and impersonate a HC, while an aging QB runs the O the way he feels" as a job, you're right

Better than standing on the sideline impersonating a coach while T-Jack attempts to run the offense.
Favre did make some terrible, terrible decisions; but the coach shouldn't throw him under the bus like this. I doubt that Sean Payton threw Brees under the bus after throwing 4 picks yesterday. Or that Belicik would do it to Brady, or Manning's coach would do it to him.

Favre and Childress need to leave after this year or we are going to have a losing season next year

Childress dug his own grave by not having a back up plan...

McNabb, Bulger, McCoy...there were competent QB's to be had...

i can create an easy back up plan right off of the top of my head.

Play Tarvaris, run with the best RB in the league, and take away a lot of costly INT's

Basicly you're right, but what would be the difference, with T-Jack under center? It can't be much worse

I assume if the would have a better relationship, he hasn't done it. But it looks as they didn't come along very well. On the other hand, things likr this should be fixed team internal
