Brad Childress Has Tried To Pull Brett Favre Before

Vikings quarterback Brett Favre's refusal to allow Vikings head coach Brad Childress to remove him from Sunday's loss in Carolina may not have been the first dust-up between the two this season as ESPN and the Minneapolis Star Tribune reported that Childress wanted to remove Favre from at least two other games this season. The Star-Tribune reported that the coach wanted to yank Favre early from a 27-10 win at Detroit on Nov. 15. And ESPN reported that Childress was angered by Favre disregarding a running play that was ordered from the sideline during the QB's return to Lambeau Field on Nov. 1.
