Percy Harvin returned to Vikings practice Friday, but things did not go smoothly. The wide receiver, who sat out Wednesday and Thursday because of an injured left ankle, got into a heated argument with coach Brad Childress when Childress questioned Harvin's effort in practice, according to sources. Harvin, who hurt his ankle last Sunday at New England but was able to continue in the game, is listed as questionable for Sunday against Arizona, but it's expected he will try to play. He leads the team with 31 receptions. "He's a tough guy," Childress said. "Let's face it, he injured that foot on his first catch of the game [last Sunday in New England] and still was very productive. I would just say he's tough." Source: Minneapolis Star-Tribune
Dig the hole deeper, Brad. I swear, he's an idiot. Harvin has tried, at least. Suffered through Migraines all pre-season and such - and he's making an effort, unlike some of the other guys on that 2-6 team. Maybe if he was so passionate in trying to fire his other players up. I think he may be gone at the end of this season if things dont improve.
2-5 Chipper, not that it matters :icon_eek:. I was wondering if Childress would push Percy to play even with the injury, since his job is in serious jeopardy. I guess we know the answer to that. Funny thing is, Bernard Berrian has a groin injury now too, so on Sunday there might be 3 different receivers fielded from last sunday.
Good thing Zygi locked him up last year to the tune of 4mill a year, I think. I said it then, and I'm still saying it, absolutely stupid to lock him up, no one else was going to give him an offer.
