Recovery from minor hip surgery prevented new Dolphins lead receiver Brandon Marshall from getting onto the field for weekend practice sessions. But that didn't get Marshall out of a significant amount of work. Dolphins coach Tony Sparano said Marshall was still ``held accountable'' for learning the offensive scheme through tests on and off the field as he watched workouts. Marshall has been limited to some conditioning drills and stints on the stationary bike since he was acquired by the Dolphins in a trade last month with the Denver Broncos. Marshall then had a minor procedure on his hip. Sparano said receivers coach Karl Dorrell constantly quizzes Marshall as plays are being run in practice drills. Marshall also takes written exams during sessions in the meeting rooms. Source: Miami Herald
