The Atlanta Braves traded starting pitcher Tommy Hanson to the Los Angeles Angels for reliever Jordan Walden. The trade was announced by the Angels. Hanson, 26, is 45-32 with a 3.61 ERA in four seasons with the Braves. Atlanta had the depth in a rotation of Tim Hudson, Kris Medlen, Mike Minor and Paul Maholm to trade Hanson. Prospect Julio Teheran and Randall Delgado are bubbling in the minors and Brandon Beachy is expected to return from Tommy John surgery at midseason. Source:ESPN
