I don't know why people say his ego this his ego that. It's the fricken media that starts this crap year after year. He hasn't said a word since saying he was retiring last year. The media is the one giving him all the attention year in and year out and makes his retirement or his not retiring a bigger deal that what it is. Personally, I think he's great for the NFL and more players should play like he did.

Definitely not him bringing it up. ESPN loves bringing it up, for sure. It's old. We're all tired of it. Hell, I think Favre is even tired of it at this point. Maybe when the season actually starts..we will get a break from it. Until..a starting QB gets hurt somewhere. Or underperforms.
