The Broncos just released their first depth chart of the 2009 season, as required by the NFL. After missing all but the first two days of full-squad workouts, Brandon Marshall has fallen out of the starting lineup. The team’s top three receivers are listed as Eddie Royal, Brandon Stokley and Jabar Gaffney, which should come as no surprise to anyone who has watched training camp. Marshall, the team’s top receiver the last two years, is on the second-team, listed behind Gaffney.

Is there really any chance that he doesn't start on week 1?

I can't figure the Broncos out at all. Their two best players, Cutler and Marshall, and they manage to alienate both. If Marshall isn't starting week 1, the Broncos are fools.

Well, remember it's Josh McDaniels we're talking about here. He's done nothing but destroy the Broncos since day 1.

My brother, the Bronco fan, is missing Shanahan like crazy. He even says he won't call him the Rat Man anymore

He's a punk-ass baby anyway! Teach his butt a lesson!

Between McDaniels and Marshall the team is just falling apart.

lol...this story is way overblown...the guy is hurt and not taking starting reps, and McDaniels is showing the rest of his team that nobody is getting special treatment...If Marshall is healthy and practices he is the starter. For the record, I have said that Denver finishes second in the division.

Second in the AFC West can be achieved with a 4-12 record, so that doesn't say much.

You shouldn't lose you starting position because of injury...but I guess I'm old school.
