Kyle Orton called out Tennessee cornerback Cortland Finnegan for “cheap†play after Sunday’s game in Nashville, including a play in which Finnegan hit a helmet-less Chris Kuper. The NFL agreed, and fined Finnegan $10,000 for unnecessary roughness. Finnegan, though, was not the only player to receive a fine. Broncos linebacker Mario Haggan was dinged for $5,000 for a blow to the face against a Tennessee player. He was penalized on the play. Source: The Denver Post
