Rookie outside linebacker Robert Ayers has been fined $5,000 by the league for a “major facemask†penalty in last Sunday’s game against Washington. Ayers grabbed onto Santana Moss’ facemask while making a tackle on a punt return in the second quarter. He was called for a personal foul on the play. Source: TheDenverPost
