Two reports say Von Miller's suspension was not triggered by a positive drug test, which could at least change the perception of Denver Broncos linebacker and his four-game suspension, which is being appealed. The Denver Post and USA Today both cited sources saying he did not test positive for performance-enhancing or recreational drugs. The Post had previously reported that he tested positive for marijuana as a rookie in 2011, which put him in the NFL's drug program. That means many things could trigger a suspension, such as missing tests or counseling sessions.
