The Broncos are expected to part ways with linebacker D.J. Williams, who is tied with cornerback Champ Bailey for longest-running service time with the team, Mike Klis of the Denver Post reports. When the NFL season officially opens for business March 12, the Broncos are expected to place Williams on the trading block. It won't be easy trading a player who is scheduled to make $6 million in 2013, is on the wrong side of age 30 and is coming off a double suspension that crippled his production in 2012. But Williams has enough former coaches who like him circulating around the league, and he's had enough good years at four linebacker positions for the Broncos to at least try to move him. If no team is willing to give the Broncos a draft pick in return, they are expected to release Williams before April 15, when players report to Dove Valley headquarters for team conditioning.
