Jim Wyatt of the Tennessean reports quarterback Kyle Orton called the Titans “cheap†and accused cornerback Cortland Finnegan of punching one of his Broncos teammates in last year's game in Nashville. Orton was called a "whiner" by the Titans and Finnegan invited him back to settle their differences. While both teams downplayed the existence of bad blood heading into Sunday’s rematch, neither side really backed down either. Orton said he still thinks Finnegan pushed the limit, and the Titans said they still think Orton complained too much to officials while the Broncos were en route to a 26-20 victory. “I know they haven’t forgotten what happened,†said Titans tight end Daniel Graham, who played for the Broncos last season. “There was some physical — you could say dirty — play last year, and it was from this defensive side for the most part. The Broncos’ offense and the defense here, it seemed like every play there was something going on.†Asked about those comments Wednesday in a conference call with Nashville reporters, Orton stood his ground. “I don’t regret what I said. It was a physical football game and a few plays and some stuff got out of hand,†he said. “ … I don’t take anything back.â€
