The Broncos have received word there is a strong chance they will play their season opener Sept. 9 on NBC's "Sunday Night Football" according to Mike Klis of the Denver Post. The possible season-opening opponent: the Pittsburgh Steelers at Sports Authority Field at Mile High — the league might not want another Denver home opponent, the New Orleans Saints, showcased in Week 1 because of their bounty scandal — or the New England Patriots on the road. What is certain is the Broncos will be a big-time draw. "Our fans should get ready for more night games," Broncos president Joe Ellis said. "Home and road." Source: The Redzone
So now the Broncos get showcased because of Manning??? He's got 1 freaking Super Bowl ring...no matter what anyone thinks this doesn't automatically make the Broncos the winner of Super Bowl 2012 and it doesn't make anyone who's not a Broncos fan want to watch them more......
well, this was to be expected ........... the broncos will be shown on national t.v. several times this year ............. just get used to the idea right now.
