The celebration of the Florida Gators' 2008 national championship team Sunday at Sun Life Stadium rankles some University of Miami fans, but it may provide the impetus for the Dolphins-Broncos game to be shown on television in South Florida. Dolphins CEO Mike Dee said there has been a surge in tickets sales with more than 10,000 sold on the primary and secondary markets since former Gator Tim Tebow was elevated last week to start at quarterback for the Broncos. "We're into the range where we're optimistic that we can get to a point where the game can be broadcast locally," Dee said. The deadline to avoid the blackout is 1 p.m. Thursday.

This whole game is a crap show for the Dolphins. Not only are they showing themselves up by honoring the National Champion Gators at half time, but now you have the QB of that Beloved Gators team coming into your house on the opposing team...lol. Nightmare. That whole stadium is pretty much going to be there for Tim Tebow, the Flirida Gators and then maybe, MAYBE the Miami Dolphins...
