First there was "Tebowing" where fans got the idea of kneeling in prayer in places outside the church setting, as the Broncos' quarterback did on the Miami sideline as Matt Prater was getting ready to kick his game-winning field goal in overtime. Now, Broncos fans are going a step further, customizing their No. 15 jerseys by replacing the name "Tebow" on the back with "Jesus." The No. 15 "Jesus" jerseys have created a little more controversy than "Tebowing" because it has been viewed by some Christians as a clear transgression of the first commandment that prohibits idolatry. But others say that instead of the more common "John 3:16," fans are honoring their faith in the Son of God by using the jersey of Tebow, an unabashed believer, as sort of a billboard. "I don't know what to think about that because I don't know where people's hearts are," Tebow said today. "It's important to not judge without knowing their hearts. If their heart is to honor the Lord, then it's a good thing. Only God can judge because only God knows what's truly in a person's heart." Source: Denver Post
I... I just... What? Why is this news? I just don't understand. The amount of bs Tebow news that gets reported is ridiculous.
I can't wait until all this Tebow crap is over with and the Broncos start losing the games he plays like butt in.
