The Denver Broncos have signed veteran free agent running back LenDale White and waived running back Kolby Smith, the team announced. White is suspended for the first four games of the regular season for violating the NFL substance-abuse policy. He was cut by the Seattle Seahawks earlier this offseason, apparently because of the suspension and a sense of entitlement while playing for his college coach, Pete Carroll. White spent his first four NFL seasons with the Tennessee Titans, where he rushed for 2,349 yards on 628 carries with 24 touchdowns. The Broncos need help at running back with Knowshon Moreno and Correll Buckhalter sidelined with injuries. Source: National Football Post
Kolby must be hot garbage. **********Automerged Doublepost********** edit: Smith looked good with the Chiefs when he had his starting chances, what happened to him?
This doesn't sound like a big deal. White was probably signed for insurance until Moreno and Buckhalter return from injuries. **********Automerged Doublepost********** It's a two year deal.... Adam Schefter: Twitter.com
