The Denver Broncos signed a pair of free agent wide receivers today, adding Patrick Carter and Britt Davis to the roster. The Broncos waived rookie wide receiver Patrick Honeycutt. Earlier today, the Broncos placed wide receiver Kenny McKinley and safety Josh Barrett on injured reserve with knee and back injuries, respectively. Davis spent time last season with the New York Jets' practice squad after going undrafted out of Northern Illinois. Carter played collegiately at Louisville and went through training camp two years ago as an undrafted rookie with the Baltimore Ravens. Source: National Football Post
